WHY ARE THESE PEOPLE SMILING ?

Because they're having a "blast" at the
First Annual Pokono Ramona Alumni Holiday Get-Together,
held last night in Englewood Cliffs, NJ.

The atmosphere was a mix of laughter, excitement and anticipation,
while the recollections of summers past - friends, follies and songs -
were eagerly told, over cocktails and snacks.

Know their names ?
(L to R): Joyce Broser, Marsha Pressman, Bruce Beyer and Richard Hofflich.

The group expressed a determination to hold a
Long Island Get-Together and a Spring Reunion.

I remember the following being played over the loudspeaker at the Roundhouse, songs from Tapestry by Carole King; 'Sittin' In' by Loggins and Messina; CSNY and Seals & Crofts (lots of mellow stuff). Also popular in 1973 were Paul McCartney and Wings , 'Red Rose Speedway' came out before camp in 1973. Elton John was being played a lot too. Whenever I listen to 'Sittin In' (I bought it right after camp) I think of Pokono Ramona.
